Adding or removing a new SCOM zone from Om12 agent

Using Powershell:

Remove Management group

$OMCfg = New-Object -ComObject AgentConfigManager.MgmtSvcCfg;

$OMCfg.RemoveManagementGroup(“zonetoberemoved”)

 

Add management group

$OMCfg = New-Object -ComObject AgentConfigManager.MgmtSvcCfg;

$OmCfg.AddmanagementGroup(‘zonenametobeadded’,’MSNamewithFQCN’,5723)
